Event ticket policy

All event tickets are non-refundable. Cancellation outcomes depend on timing and who cancels.

Player cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before event: ticket can transfer to store credit for a future event.
  • Less than 48 hours before event: no refund, no transfer, no credit.

Dungeon Master / host cancellations

  • DM cancels the game: full refund.
  • DM reschedules: player may attend the new date or take store credit for a future event.

Late arrival

  • Players arriving more than 20 minutes after the scheduled start are not permitted to join.
  • Ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable in this case.

Exceptions

  • Escalate to staff. Default is no.

Why

Hosts (Dungeon Masters, instructors) prepare materials and craft each session. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows cannot be refunded without the host eating the cost or the store doing so.

How to apply

  • Quote the policy directly.
  • If outside 48 hours, offer the store-credit transfer path.
  • If a customer pushes for an exception, escalate via open_issue. Do not negotiate in-thread.
  • Do not promise outcomes on exceptions.
  • Refer to “staff” or “the team,” never name individuals.
