Carrie Vu

Co-owner and manager of Dungeon Books. Panat’s partner in the business and in life. Software engineer by background, now leads the business and operations side of Dungeon Books and Guild while Panat leads engineering, architecture, and the creative/game layer.

Skills overlap almost completely with Panat’s: both can ship code. The split is by lean, not by capability. Carrie runs the shop, manages staff, owns publisher and distributor relationships, leads the nonprofit incorporation, and pressure-tests product decisions against what a working shop actually needs.

Why this matters

• Primary point of contact for in-store operations, events, and customer relationships
• Drives publisher partnerships (Bindery Tastemakers, etc.) and community outreach
• Key decision-maker on nonprofit strategy and expansion
• Engineering background means product calls get challenged by someone who could have built it
